Franklin Continues to Expand Game
Last summer Duncanville, Texas forward Roger Franklin set out to show he was more than an undersized power forward.
The first step was making the move from the four to the three, but he has not stopped there instead pushing to show he can play anywhere on the court.
Over the course of the high school and AAU season the 6-6, 217-pound prospect has turned several heads as he transforms his game from undersized banger to all-purpose player, which should not come as a surprise considering his work ethic and basketball IQ.
Offers have poured in with Arizona, Baylor, Indiana, Michigan, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St., USC, Texas A&M, Utah, and Virginia Tech all placing scholarship papers on the table. He has been all over the country already this summer, but this weekend he went with the LBA Seawolves to the Rumble in the Bronx to shine in a new venue.
