Stewart adds third straight No. 1 O-lineman
West Virginia picked up the state's best offensive lineman for the third straight year when Cabell Midland's Cole Bowers called head coach Bill Stewart on Tuesday to commit to the football program.
Bowers, 6-foot-5, 280, and the defending state champ in the shot put, becomes the first offensive lineman in the Class of 2009, which now numbers seven.
He commitment follows that of offensive lineman of the year Josh Jenkins (2007) of Parkersburg and 2006's Chad Snodgrass of Nitro.
