Mossakowski catching a wave of interest
Within this calendar year Frisco (Texas) Centennial four-star quarterback Ryan Mossakowski was a little know name to coaches and recruitniks alike. However, roughly three months since he burst onto the national scene at the U.S. Army Junior Combine in January the interest in the 6-foot-4, 201-pound signal caller has picked up dramatically.
He says that it's had some hills and valleys in between but confesses there is no denying that it started in San Antonio. Mossakowski said his performance in the city of the Alamo along with a lofty ranking in the initial Rivals100 did a lot to help him become a national name.
"I made the camp top 50 list, and recruiting picked up pretty quick for a few weeks, all the information that came out from the camp helped out," Mossakowski recalled. "Then I got on the top 100 for Rivals and it kept rolling for a bit then it kind of went back down for a little while and then up and down here and there."
He says that while the recruiting game wears many out, he realizes that it's a once in a lifetime opportunity that 99-percent of high school athletes would love to be taking part in.
