Fisher says QBs had their 'best scrimmage'

After Saturday's half scrimmage, offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher didn't appear overly pleased with the play of his squad. His reaction wasn't surprising considering the offense only mustered one play of 25 yards or more all day. Nevertheless, Fisher was careful to point out that offensive statistics in scrimmages aren't usually indicative of how the unit, or the individual players, performed.
Case in point was the play of the quarterbacks.
The passing game on Saturday failed to produce big numbers, and none of the three quarterbacks showed any consistency moving the football through the air. But Fisher did want to comment on their performance after the scrimmage saying that he had to review the film before commenting. And his review revealed a somewhat surprising assessment which he shared with Warchant.com after Monday's scrimmage.
