Auburn extended an offer this week to one of Texas' best overall athletes.

Plano High's Rex Burkhead, who rushed for 1,768 yards and 29 touchdowns as a junior, has added the Tigers to his list of offers that already included the likes of LSU, Texas Tech, Cal, Alabama, Kansas and Minnesota among others.
