One of the top interior defensive linemen in Georgia next fall has followed the Dawgs since he was a child. Deon Roberson was in Athens quite a bit this fall, he is familiar with the Bulldog program and clearly says they are his favorite.
"I have a huge sack full of letters from a lot of different schools," said Roberson. "I get the most from Georgia, Auburn, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame and Louisville. I get them from other schools too, but the most come from them."
Roberson is a 6-foot-2, 285-pound defensive tackle out of Tucker (Ga.) and he spent a lot of time in Athens this fall.
"I was there for every home game I could get to," he said. "We had some Saturday games, so I could not get to all of them, but I was there for the Oklahoma State, Western Carolina, Ole Miss and Kentucky games this year."
"I love the atmosphere there, the fans and the coaches at Georgia. Georgia is somewhere I could definitely see myself playing."
