Lowe returns from Iowa City
Cleveland Glenville prospect William Lowe is almost home after a cancelled flight added an extra day to his travels this weekend. The 5-foot-9, 165-pound Lowe was returning from Iowa City after making an official visit with the Hawkeyes.
The travel issues did not put a damper on the trip, Lowe said, as he thoroughly enjoyed his time with the Hawkeyes. The two-star prospect's host on the official visit was freshman defensive back Diauntae Morrow, who showed him around campus.
The coaching staff, who is recruiting Lowe at cornerback, talked about their need at the position after the graduation of starters Charles Godfrey and Adam Shada.
The trip to Iowa was Lowe's second official visit this month after touring Indiana last week. Along with the Hawkeyes and Hoosiers, he also holds scholarship offers from West Virginia, North Carolina, and several MAC schools. Currently, he plans to take his time in making his decision.
