Habern ensures trip is worth the wait
ARGYLE, Texas - Though the world may have known about Ben Habern for quite some time, it took the final game of his high school career for Rivals.com to travel to Argyle's tiny private school, Liberty Christian. While it was a lengthy wait, the 6-foot-3, 265-pound offensive center certainly made it worthwhile.
Habern not only had several media members and a large contingent of Liberty Christian fans in attendance he had over a dozen family members in attendance from all over the region.
The Sooners future center lines up across the Warriors' offensive line at every position other than, believe it or not, center. Habern finds himself most frequently at left tackle but is used in many various roles for head coach Mark Bowles. This not only shows his overall athletic ability but will help him greatly as a future center in knowing the roles of his fellow linemen.
