The Oregon Ducks have emerged from the pile to take their place on the top of the Pac-10 football heap after their win over Arizona State last week. The Ducks have a bye this week while USC and Arizona State jockey for position behind them. CougZone takes you on a whirlwind tour of what's going through the minds of the conference's coaches as the season continues.
Mike Bellotti - Oregon
Personnel - Linebacker John Bacon is out with an injury, freshman Casey Matthews will replace him.
Quote - "He's doing all the things necessary of a Heisman candidate." [re: quarterback Dennis Dixon dropping passes].
Other Stuff - Says he never had any qualms about hiring a Division I-AA Chip Kelly, from New Hampshire, as his newest offensive guru. Says the Rose Bowl is their first goal but would be happy to play in the national championship too - and would like to see a playoff system in Division I football and thinks it will happen at some point. .
Mike Stoops - Arizona
Personnel - None.

Other Stuff - Says he thinks the offense is beginning to click and the big win at Washington gave the team some extra momentum.
Mike Riley - Oregon State
Personnel - Quarterback Sean Canfield is doubtful and Lyle Moevao will start. Running back Yvenson Bernard is probable.
