Another Norcross star on UA radar
For two straight years, Alabama has raided one of the top football programs in the state of Georgia, Norcross High School, for offensive talent, and one rising 2009 recruit from the Gwinnett County program has already got the Tide staff's attention early. Receiver Prince Kent, 6-foot-3, 190 pounds has already picked up one ACC offer and schools from all over the country are inquiring about him.
"Boston College has went ahead and sent me a written offer," said Kent, who runs a 4.5 40-yard dash and a 4.35 shuttle run. "They are a great academic school with good facilities and those are two of my top factors in deciding on a school."
While Kent is in the receiver rotation at Norcross in his junior year, he shares the ball with Alabama commit Devonta Bolton and USC pledge Brice Butler. Still, Kent reeled in 42 yards receiving and a touchdown in a season opening win over Duluth and has made a big impact on defense with 40 tackles and two caused fumbles.
