Freshman tailback Shawnbrey McNeal found out just a couple of hours before the game against Georgia Tech that he would be seeing meaningful action.

"Coach (Tommie) Robinson told me I'd be going in on the third series," McNeal said.

McNeal's response?

"I was like, `Okay, I'm ready," he said.
