After being sidelined since early August, cornerback Kendrick Harper will finally make his debut with the Jayhawks this Saturday in Manhattan against Kansas State. Harper dressed against Florida International, but didn't play.
In Harper's absence, it has been freshman Chris Harris who has stepped up and done an admirable job at cornerback. Mark Mangino, who said that Harper looks good in practice despite shaking off some rust, wasn't interested in commentating on the possible competition at cornerback.
"We will see in the future, that is not our focus right now," Mangino said.
