Byrd looking closely at three

CardinalSports.com There was a time where Hogansville (Ala.) Callaway defensive end Ronald Byrd's senior season was in jeopardy. The 6-6, 258-pound prospect tore his MCL in spring football and was not cleared until mid-July to return to action this fall. A three-star prospect, Byrd has taken full advantage of the second opportunity he's been given. Already possessing several offers from top programs in Division I-A, a strong performance this season could yield more.
Schools showing attention include South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, Louisville, Troy and Clemson.
