Marcus Cromartie has stepped on University of Wisconsin soil.

The 6-foot, 159-pounder three-star cornerback from Mansfield (Texas) Timberview finally did so after verbally committing to the Badgers back May.

Cromartie was on campus as one of three known official visitors - the others being quarterback Curt Phillips and defensive back Shelton Johnson - this past weekend to see the Badgers' win over season-opening opponent Washington State, 42-21.
