Will Baldwin find a place?
Sophomore safety/cornerback Donavon Baldwin has moved around more than any other Georgia player during his tenure. Baldwin started out at cornerback, moved to free safety, then back to corner last spring, and he is now playing free safety again. Baldwin is working as the number three free safety behind starter C.J. Byrd and his backup Reshad Jones. UGASports caught up with Baldwin to ask him about the constant changes in his role on the team.
Where are you playing these days, is it safety or corner?
"Right now they have moved me back to free safety. I worked at free safety last year."
Are you more comfortable at free safety or would you rather play corner?
"I basically know everything right now and can play either."
How much will that experience last season at free safety help you this year?
"It will help a lot because I already know what is going on and I have the plays basically down."
