On Thursday, Wisconsin landed its 15th verbal commitment of the Class of 2008 when Rogers, Ark., three-star tight end Jake Byrne verbally pledged the Badgers over his home-state Arkansas Razorbacks (Tulsa finished third, he said).
Byrne chose the Badgers after attending their one-day camp this past Monday. He came to Madison, Wis., without an offer -despite claiming offers from Arkansas, Kansas, Mississippi State, Missouri State and Tulsa - and left with head coach Bret Bielema extending an opportunity to be a member of the '08 class.
