Four-star back names top three
Jonesboro (Ga.) Mount Zion four-star running back Martin Ward made an early commitment to the Georgia Bulldogs but has since re-opened his recruiting, and several schools are hoping it's to their benefit.
"I'm looking at schools like North Carolina, South Carolina, Clemson, Florida, Georgia and Purdue," the 5-foot-11, 192-pound Ward said. "So far, I've visited Georgia, South Carolina, Clemson and North Carolina in person."
Ward, who rushed for over 1,300 yards as a junior, liked what he saw in Columbia.
"I really liked their new weight room and the new jerseys that they're getting from Under Armour," he said. "I got to meet coach (Steve) Spurrier. He seems like he's excited about the future and what they can do at South Carolina."
North Carolina's coaches received an up close and person look at Ward at their summer camp.
