Top talent on display at OU Elite Camp
There is hardly an offseason when it comes to being a collegiate basketball coach. Oklahoma head coach Jeff Capel is no exception. This past weekend he welcomed some of the top players in the area to Lloyd Noble Center as he held his annual Elite Camp.
Two of the most noticeable names in the camp were 2009 Oklahoma commitment Kyle Hardrick and his fellow Athlete's First teammate Daniel Orton. Orton was nursing a left ankle injury and was unable to play much the second day, but Hardrick showed why he has the potential to be a big time prospect in the future. He has the ability to hit a jump shot from 15-feet out and the ability to drive his defender to the basket. He is a tough prospect to stop for any defender and he proved as much at the camp this weekend.
