Music City Classic to host TN's best
Last year's Music City Classic 7-on-7 high school passing tournament at Vanderbilt University was seen as a extremely successful event. The first annual tournament featured some of the most exciting teams from around the south as well as a number of BCS level prospects.
And while some programs such as the two high schools that played in the inaugural championship, Byrnes High (S.C.) and Rogers (Ark.), will not be participating this time around, the second edition of the tournament promises to be just as exciting with over 27 schools in the field.
Of those 27 schools, 21 will be from the state of Tennessee including a number of mid-state powerhouse programs and a total of 16 teams that reached postseason play during the 2006 season.
