Another Bullitt making waves
While there hasn't always been a Bullitt on a Texas A&M roster, it certainly does seem like it.
Jerry Bullitt arrived at Aggieland in 1980 and patrolled the linebacking corps for Jackie Sherrill's earliest A&M teams. His younger brother Steve arrived after Jerry left, helped the Wrecking Crew to multiple SWC titles in the mid to late 80s and serves today as a Secret Service agent.
Jerry's oldest son Melvin Bullitt came on board in 2003 as part of head coach Dennis Franchione's first recruiting class, wound up starting his senior year and is now looking forward to going to training camp with the Indianapolis Colts.
Now, there's one more Bullitt on the way, and he may be the best of them all.
