Hamm's stock is rising
While Brandon Smith has been receiving most of the early publicity out of New Brunswick (NJ), both Marquise Hamm and Paul Vigo are making a name for themselves. ScarletNation was able to speak with both at the Elite College Combine, and first introduces everyone to DE Marquise Hamm, who already holds two offers and after an impressive performance last week, is destined for more.
Hamm, 6-foot-4 and 216-pounds, lined up at both outside linebacker and wide receiver in 2006 during the Zebras run to a State Championship. With his impressive frame, however, his future seems to lie at the defensive end position.
Aside from Syracuse, Hamm is also receiving steady interest from Rutgers, Connecticut, Boston College, Colorado, Virginia, and Michigan.
