An overview for hoops recruiting - Part I

BruinSportsReport.com On paper, UCLA will have just two scholarships to give out for their 2008 class of basketball recruits, but with anticipated attrition being a major concern, Bruin coaches are expanding their search for prospects as we move into the Spring and Summer AAU season.
The two scholarships which will definitively be sitting there will open up due to the departure of senior Lorenzo Mata following next season and the already vacated scholarship which Arron Afflalo left behind when he announced he was ending his college career last week and entering the NBA draft.
Of course, Afflalo would've left his scholarship open following next season one way or the other as he was to be a graduating senior with Mata in the fall.
