All-purpose back Sam McGuffie out of Cy-Fair High School in Cypress, Texas has his pick of the litter when it comes to scholarship offers.

That happens when you rush for 3, 212 yards and score 44 touchdowns and haul down
400 yards of receiving your junior season.

"I would say that I am the type of back that just needs to get the ball in their hands," McGuffie said. "More often than not I am going to make something happen. I just want to make plays, whether it be catching the ball out of the backfield or carrying it 25-30 times a game. To carry the ball and have it in your hands you have to have heart and I believe that I have that.
