For the first time in his life, Xavier Avery visited the University of Georgia football facilities on Saturday. The Bulldogs recently offered Avery, so he decided to visit the home-state program to see what they had to offer. He has been to Athens before for baseball, but never for football.

"I did go over to Georgia for G-Day on Saturday," Avery said. "It was a real good experience and I liked it a lot. I had never seen the Georgia stadium, their facilities, or anything like that, so it was great."

"Their stadium is very big and it holds a lot of fans. It was loud in there Saturday and it wasn't even half full for their scrimmage. I can tell Georgia has great fans. Their coaches were really great too.
