Back in late March, Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway linebacker Shayne Hale talked about visiting Ohio State and watching one of the Buckeyes' spring practice sessions. Hale did so late last week.

The 6-foot-3 and 218-pound Hale, who has over 30 scholarship offers, has long had the Buckeyes as his top choice or one of his favorites.

Some of the other schools Hale mentioned include USC, Miami, Florida, Pitt and Penn State. All but the first two have offered Hale a scholarship.
