Back from the break
STILLWATER - After a week off, it's back to work for Oklahoma State.
Monday's practice was the first for the Cowboys after returning from spring break, but coach Mike Gundy said he was impressed with his team's workout.
"We went long and did a lot of running to get the spring break out of them," Gundy said. "They all came back and they're all healthy, so I'm excited about that. We pushed them hard and kind of got them back into shape mentally."
The Cowboys, who practiced in shorts and shoulder pads, used the day to continue learning offensive and defensive schemes.
"There were some team settings where we were half-speed and just teaching," Gundy said. "We're almost finished with our installations on both sides of the ball. They really moved around pretty well."

OSU's annual grudge match with Oklahoma, originally scheduled for Oct. 27, was moved to Nov. 24 - a move Gundy supported.
"I think it's good for college football to have it on Thanksgiving weekend," Gundy said. "From what I understand it's going to be like that for a long time."
The move's benefits are two-fold, however, as the game's rescheduling gives the Cowboys both a bye-week and a three-game homestretch that features Kansas State, Texas, and Kansas.
