Sam McGuffie's highlight videos on Rivals.com have been accessed more than 40,000 times as of early Friday afternoon, which means a lot of football fans have been impressed with what the Cypress (Texas) Cy-Fair running back does on the field.

McGuffie, at 6-foot and 185 pounds, finished his junior season with 3,212 rushing yards and 44 touchdowns on 358 carries.

Many of the big-name programs have already offered McGuffie, who lists Florida, Alabama, Michigan, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and others. He said his cell phone has logged some serious minutes.
