SU may Sweat it out
In the 2007 recruiting class Syracuse University lost out on two legacy recruits Rob Gronkowski and Mark Spinney but that is not going to stop them from going after more. In Head Coach Greg Robinson's recruiting day press conference he made note of a 2008 prospect that has ties to the Orange. That player Coach Robinson was talking about is Andrew Sweat.
Sweat is a 6-foot-3, 225-pounder from Washington (Pa.) Trinity, was named first team all state as a junior. Sweat did nothing short of dominate opposing offenses racking up 91 unassisted tackles, 13 tackles for a loss, and 4 sacks.
College football is nothing new to the Sweat household as Andrews father Gary was a stand out player for the Syracuse Orange in the early 1970s.
