Briscoe has the potential to be special
Wednesday was an extremely hectic, but rewarding day, for Cedar Hill head coach Joey McGurire. Fourteen of his Longhorn players signed National Letters-of-Intent and four more could possibly do the same in the near future. Dezmon Briscoe, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound wide receiver made his verbal commitment to the University of Kansas official by inking with the Jayhawks on Wednesday morning.
Briscoe made a name for himself late in the recruiting process, and eventually emerged as a hot commodity. During his senior campaign at Cedar Hill, the talented wide-receiver had 37 receptions for 707 yards and scored 11 touchdowns.
