Nathan Dick to Arkansas
The Razorbacks received their second public quarterback commitment on Sunday night when Allen (Texas) standout Nathan Dick committed.
Dick, 6-foot-4, 200 pounds, backed off a commitment to Rice after the entire staff left and began to look around at other options. With the decisions of offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn and quarterback Mitch Mustain to leave the Araknsas program, and then with the hire of former Dallas Cowboys assistant coach David Lee, a door opened up for Dick.
"He got an offer from coach Nutt on Friday as we were driving down to see Houston and Rice, and with the situation at Rice and their coaches leaving and entire staff, and then with the changes that have been made up at Arkansas [that was a factor]," father Steve Dick said.
