Papio's Dooley plays the waiting game
Heading in to the 2006 season, Papillion (Neb.) La Vista offensive lineman Kyle Dooley was considered one of the top prospects in the state.
Dooley held early offers from TCU, Colorado State, Arizona State and Iowa State. However, a high ankle sprain limited Dooley for his entire senior season and both ISU and ASU have undergone head coaching changes over the last month.
Papio head coach Gene Suhr said Dooley committed to the Sun Devils after an official visit to Tempe in December, but when newly named head coach Dennis Erickson replaced Dirk Koetter, ASU no longer honored his commitment.
