Departing senior defensive tackle
Ray Gant had his share of success and failure during his five years in Athens. Gant's three sacks this season was twice as many as the rest of the defensive tackles combined.

Gant ends his career with six sacks and 84 total tackles for his career as a Bulldog.

The highlight of Gant's career came in his final SEC road game, when the Bulldogs pulled the first of three straight upsets over ranked opponents knocking off then #5 Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
