Taylor discusses AA Bowl experience

The Hokies top commitment five-star quarterback Tyrod Taylor concluded his high school career by participating in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder didn't get the opportunity to impress like he had hoped for, but Taylor learned a lot from the experience nevertheless.
"Practice wise everything went really good, but the game was another story since he didn't get to play that much," Taylor's father Rodney said. "Tyrod made the best out of the experience. To go and not even be looked at as a quarterback right away was very disappointing. When he arrived down there, the coaches put him on defense and he just didn't get that much of a chance to earn the top spot.
