This Saturday, Aaron Corp could be the first USC quarterback commit to ever win a California Bowl Championship.

After leading Orange Lutheran to victory over Edison High School 30-20 last weekend, the Lancers were invited to the inaugural D-II California Bowl State Championship game at the Home Depot Center.

But it's a championship bid that may never have materialized.

In week six of the season, the Lancers lost their league opener to Servite in heartbreaking fashion. Going down 28-21 in double overtime, Corp found himself in the usual position of falling short on a comeback.
