Overland Park (Kan.) St. Thomas Aquinas linebacker Brian Smith committed to Iowa in August prior to his senior season. The three-star rated prospect has lined up his official visit to Iowa City after taking two unofficial trips there during the season.

Smith was in attendance for the Hawkeyes' games against Iowa State and Ohio State this season.
