Georgia Bulldogs (6-4, 3-4) are in Auburn, Alabama to face the Auburn Tigers (9-1, 5-1). Georgia is coming off a tough stretch in which the Bulldogs lost four of their last five games.
Under head coach Mark Richt, the Bulldogs are 2-3 against Auburn and Georgia is 1-1 in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Auburn holds the series edge 53-48-8, but the Bulldogs are 12-9-2 in Auburn. Georgia is undefeated against Auburn in years that end in the number six.
Starting lineups
Redshirt freshman Bryan Evans will start at the short cornerback position instead of sophomore Ramarcus Brown.
Senior linebacker Danny Verdun will make his second straight start at the strong side linebacker position ahead of junior Brandon Miller and freshman Darius Dewberry.
Senior Ray Gant will start at defensive tackle ahead of Dale Dixson who started last week.
Dawgs without Turner
Senior offensive tackle/guard Michael Turner will not play against Auburn. Turner injured his ankle last week against Kentucky. Junior guard Chester Adams will start at tight guard.
Minor Injury Updates
Junior flankers A.J. Bryant (groin) and Mikey Henderson (ribs) are all battling injuries heading into the game Saturday.
