Dawgs injury problems continue
Kelly Quinlan
UGASports.com The Georgia Bulldogs already beset with injuries may be short another starter for the Mississippi State game Saturday.
Sophomore Ramarcus Brown may not play in the Mississippi State game because of a hamstring injury. Brown wants to play, but the Georgia Athletic Training Staff is holding him out of practice until his hamstring has time to heel.
Brown said, "I think I can go, but the trainers are not letting me go, I just want to get out there and play."
If Brown is out for the Mississippi State game, the coaches could start either redshirt freshman Bryan Evans or freshman Asher Allen at the short cornerback position.
Brown has started every game this season and is the fifth leading tackler for Georgia this season with 29 total tackles.
