The LSU football program hosted it's first two official visitors of the 2007 recruiting year and they were two exceptional prospects from the state of Florida.

Teammates offensive tackle Ernest McCoy (6-5, 320) and wide receiver Deonte Thompson (6-0, 180, 4.4) of Glades Central High in Belle Glades, Florida took their first official visit to Baton Rouge and both came away impressed.

"It was good and I had a good time," McCoy said. "They were talking to me about the opportunity I have to get some playing time because they have two seniors leaving at right tackle."
