Nasty weather does not slow RoJo
Neither rain, nor sleet, nor dead of night
nevermind, that is the postal service. But Muskegon, Mich., defensive back Ronald Johnson showed that not even Mother Nature can put the brakes on him Friday night. The 6-1, 185-pound cornerback was productive and always entertaining in his team's 35-14 win over conference foe Muskegon Mona Shores despite the blustery, cold weather.
The win brought the Big Reds' record to a perfect 8-0 on the season, and although much of this game was kept on the ground, Muskegon head coach Tony Annese still found ways to get the ball in his playmakers hands. Johnson scored the game's second touchdown on a 30-yard sweep where he burst down the sidelines before stopping dead in his tracks twisted through the tackles of two defenders and trotted into the end zone.
