Owens and Gillespie battle one another
Jenks, Okla. - While Oklahoma may not produce hundreds of division one prospects, there are on occasions those talents so special they deserve the spotlight normally reserved for Texas, Florida, and California prep stars. In the state's class of 2008, there is the strong possibility that two such players exist.
Muskogee's Jameel Owens, and Jenks' Tony Gillespie.
Owens is a 6-foot-3, 210-pound wide receiver with possibly the best hands the state has seen since a little known received named 'Largent' roamed the Oklahoma City suburbs.
Meanwhile, Gillespie is a 6-foot-1, 290-pound immovable object and the next in a long in-state tradition of high quality defensive tackles.
