Detroit, Mich., Cass Tech DT Joseph Barksdale is getting plenty of recruiting interest from the Hurricanes.

"Coach (John) Palermo is recruiting me, I talk to him once a week," Barksdale said. "We talk a good 10 or 15 minutes. He talks about previous games and the kind of opportunity I would have going in there and being able to play as a freshman. He talks about the academics, the surrounding area.
