Johnson impressed with Wolverine win

TheWolverine.com Two Midwestern powers located just over two hours from each other, Michigan and Notre Dame routinely battle for the same high school prospects. Saturday's game pitting the two tradition-rich schools brought out a number of recruits still considering both programs. One of those was five-star Muskegon, Mich., defensive back Ronald Johnson.
The 6-1, 185-pound Johnson took the trip to South Bend on Saturday with his uncle, a few Muskegon coaches and a pair of teammates, including class of 2008 offensive lineman Carlin Landingham.
Johnson is scheduled to next see Michigan play when they host Michigan State on Oct. 7. He also plans to be in attendance in Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 18 for the Ohio State-Michigan game and has an official visit scheduled to USC for Nov. 24. An official visit to Michigan is not in his plans, however.
