Johnson could be the answer
SpartanMag.com has indicated in several recruiting updates that Michigan State is looking upgrade the athleticism at several positions on both offense and defense. Last night we spoke with a prospect that could be just what the doctor ordered in that quest, Devan Johnson of Woodland Hills High School in Pennsylvania.
Johnson is a 6-foot-1, 232-pound athlete who could play linebacker, H-back, tight end, full back or even running back in college. It is that type of versatility that has teams like Michigan State.
As far as scholarships go, Johnson informed us that he already has offers from Colorado, Temple, Akron and Kent State.
In addition to Michigan State, teams like Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Cincinnati are all taking a close look and could pull the trigger in the near future.
