Watson hoping to make UNC visit soon
Lansford Watson, a 6-4, 226 pound WR/TE from Brooklyn (NY) Lincoln, is one of the more versatile receiving threats in the Class of 2007.
Possessing large hands, Watson catches most everything that comes his way, and with the potential for added growth, he could play multiple positions at the next level.
According to his high school coach, Sean O' Connor, Watson is doing all the necessary things to prepare himself for a big senior season.
"Well, his work ethic is good," said O' Connor. "He's getting better at all the things he does; speed, catching the ball, running routes, working out in the weight room; He's really progressed in all areas from his junior year to now."
"Being in New York City, we don't get the publicity that kids get in Texas and Florida get," O' Connor added. "He worked his butt off at the combines this spring. He's very competitive."
