Michigan receiver could be nearing offer
Most of the Big Ten has noticed the play of Orchard Lake (Mich.) St. Mary's receiver Taurian Washington, but one more power may be on the verge of making an offer.
The 6-foot, 167-pound Washington with 4.5 speed caught 35 passes and found the end zone an amazing 12 times as a junior, and he's quickly becoming one of the more touted wideout prospects in the nation. His speed and hands have made him a hot prospect, and Rivals has him as a four-star talent and ranked among the top 25 receivers in the country.
Washington attended the final day of Ohio State's senior camp on Friday, and by all accounts did nothing to hurt his reputation.
And while Washington didn't leave Columbus with an offer, the wait may not be too long.
Washington holds offers from the Wolverines and most of the Big Ten, including Michigan State, Penn State, Iowa and Wisconsin.
Washington would like to decide on a school by the beginning of his season.
