Devlin visits Iowa City
Pennsylvania athlete Andrew Devlin continued his tour of colleges around the Midwest, as he made an unofficial visit to the University of Iowa today.
Devlin, who currently holds 27 scholarship offers, has the size and mobility to play a number of positions at the college level. As a junior, the Pittsburgh native caught 12 passes for 100 yards as a tight end and registered four sacks on the defensive side of the ball.
Currently, Devlin hopes to make his college decision by August, if not sooner. After his college tour, which continues tomorrow, he plans to narrow his list from 12 favorites to a handful of schools.
Devlin's current top 12 consists of Iowa, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Stanford, Purdue, Pittsburgh, Boston College, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Michigan, Ohio State, and Notre Dame. All but the last three schools have offered.
