Grigsby talks about Arizona commitment
On Monday, Arizona received its fifth commitment of the 2007 recruiting class when Nicholas Grigsby called the UA coaching staff and pledged to the Wildcats. Grigsby, a 5-foot-10, 178-pound athlete from St. Paul High School in Santa Fe Springs, California, claimed offers from Arizona State, Oregon and USC but in decided to end his recruitment early.
As a junior, Grigsby rushed the ball 187 times for 1,813 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also caught 21 passes for 497 yards and four touchdowns. Not only can Grigsby play running back and receiver on the next level, but he's also capable of playing defensive back, which is what makes him such a valuable recruit for Arizona
Even though he has never been to Tucson before, Grigsby felt comfortable enough with what he knew about Arizona to make the commitment.
