David Snow getting early recognition
The state of Texas, as always, is loaded with talented prospects at each and every position, but the talent may be the deepest along the offensive line. Guys like Tray Allen, Michael Huey and Matt Nader are part of a group that's one of the deepest the Lone Star State has produced in several years, and the Texas Longhorns have capitalized on the fruitful crop.
The 2008 group will not be nearly as deep, but there are a couple of heavy-hitters that will be on wish lists of programs around the country. The two names that are getting the most early recognition are Klein's J.B. Shugarts and Gilmer's David Snow, both of whom were at Texas' mini-camp last weekend.
Recent camp stops at Texas and Oklahoma have many recruiting fans wondering if it won't come down to a Red River battle for Snow's commit.
