Lamar Consolidated's Jarvis Jones is one of the top remaining uncommitted offensive linemen in the state of Texas, but unlike most of his contemporaries, Jones had yet to make a single unofficial visit or junior day.

Until now.

The 6-foot-7, 250-pound Jones took an overnight trip to Texas A&M last weekend, and the Aggies managed to make a good first impression.

Jones has scholarship offers from Texas A&M, Miami, Iowa, Kansas State, Baylor, Arizona, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech.
