UT commit Michael Huey continues to improve
Michael Huey is going to be a busy player next season for the Kilgore Bulldogs. The right guard will double at DT (nose) next year for the less experienced Bulldog team. Last week, Huey worked on both sides of the ball in full contact drills, towering over his teammates.
The 6-foot-4.5, 285-pound lineman was an imposing force physically on both sides of the ball, collapsing the pocket on a couple of occasions while serving as a disruptor on inside running plays as well as punishing teammates in the run game from his guard spot.
Huey has grown to 6-4.5 since last season and has gained 10 pounds, going from 275 to 285. The added strength on his frame is allowing Huey to hold physically while logging more time playing both sides of the ball.
